Patients raise funds by generating points. These points are acquired through active community service. Each service hour is equivalent to $10 toward the patients' medical needs. Hands of Mercy actively organizes charity events on behalf of medical patients. 

If an identified patient is unable to participate, a family member or a friend may volunteer as a representative to satisfy service responsibilities.

When the patient accumulates the desired number of points, Hands of Mercy is able to aid the patient in receiving the treatment needed for their battle.
